Open RP post, yo.
(For either
fabulae_victoriana shenanigans, as to avoid clogging up the comm. Or general RP with others. And I guess any of my dumb solo writing stuff to explain things in F_V that may happen to Chara-Frisk when the kid is on their own.
Or something, I'm awful at these.)

The nerve of soulless plants that were once monster kids. Still- Death simply stared down the flower the entire time, posture actually rather relaxed and simply waited for him to actually leave. Bone brow arched even, returning that look right back at him-
Then there was just waiting for the more colorful one that was a mess of souls.

He knows this scent, however. It sounds weird to say you know the smell of the blood of a person you've seen die before, but there it is. Either one of the Frisks was hurt, or... Chara... no, no no no. Not good. There is a very loud shout--
"What the heck's going on?!"
There you go. There's the supposed mess of souls. And he is about five seconds from freaking out and searching the house, presuming you two got the kid's body up into their room.

"Would you get up here already? I need to leave the kid in some sort of capable hands that won't drag them off into the garden," he's no leaving the room. Doesn't trust the flower a bit, not that he knows f the rainbow goat is much better.
At least the voice would give Asriel a sense of direction and pinpoint where it came from.

"Let me guess," he asks slowly. "You're someone they knew?"
He has to try to stay calm. But it's very hard when all he wants to do right now is raze an entire city until he finds the one responsible. The better question is, what state was the body in? He needs to get a better look. He wants to see if he can find a sign of who did it. The idea it may be his sibling's fault doesn't even cross his mind.

What a mess, really. Even with all the kid had done, all he could feel was sympathy of a sorts.
Arms crossed, head tilted, "Chara will return in three days, their body needs to be tended to and cared for until then, Asriel.
"Think you can do that?"
no subject
"... I... yeah."
It's not much of an answer, forgive him. It's just--even if Chara's coming back, it hurts. He feels like this is his fault, all over again. He's reminded of the stupid buttercups, all over again. He hated it then, he hates this now.
"... Is... is their soul--is it safe? I mean... I don't... I don't want..."
He isn't sure what could happen exactly, but he's still worried.

"It's safe, trust me on that one." Tucked away within himself safely in that locket, where it would remain until he could get somewhere to see what might need healing. Give time before sending it into the hands of Life for her on touch to it.
That was less draining on him. "Don't blame yourself, kid. You'll probably find out what happened when they come back," And he wondered if he'd have to collect a skeleton monster's soul then. That family gave him nothing but trouble. "I know they'll be in good hands with you, right?
"... Don't let that flower be alone with 'em."
no subject
"That's if they tell me." Chara often refuses to tell them things, unless it's advantageous to him. He's not stupid. He knows often it's to use him for some purpose or another, but he... he would rather be of use to Chara and still have a sibling, than to have no one at all who understood him.
His mother loves him, but she could never understand. ... Still, the hand is... unexpected, but appreciated, even if he doesn't mention it. Kid's bad with mentioning or thanking people. It just gets awkward.
"... Either way, I... won't leave them alone. ... Kind of... don't want to, anyway, especially not with him around... I... know what he's like." How do you even say you WERE that, that you'd BE that, save the fact you... manipulated a ton of people into being dumb enough to give you their souls, practically? You don't. He swallows, but his throat feels really dry.
"... W-who are you, anyway?" He needs to ask. He needs a slight distraction.

Death could only watch most of the time, could interact but never interfere while someone was dying. Couldn't end it quicker, only reassure them it was coming soon.
That hand remained there as long as it was accepted-
"Death." Simply said, "It is what I am, I couldn't let them be left out on the porch, nor alone with the flower."
no subject
... Death, he repeats in his mind.
Great.
Asriel runs a hand through his his hair in between his horns, uncertain what to say, at first.
"I want to... I can't... I'll look after them, but I can't promise I won't beat the crap out of whoever did this. I mean. I'll try not to kill them," he adds. He'd never... in honesty, he never liked killing. In total honesty. But you become accustomed to that. Apathy and lack of feeling leads to strange changes. Some part of him, though, is still Flowey. He hates that part of him, tries to bury it, or tries to pretend it's all he is; either way... it's there. And he hates it.
Asriel Dreemurr. A serial murderer. The irony is palpable. The Delta Rune. A symbol of Death. That's all he's good for, isn't it. Killing. The kill-or-be-killed logic. ... Urgh. And yet, looking at Chara, and wanting to shake and scream and cry and hurt someone to feel better, to make the person who did it pay... it's all he has.
"They probably won't tell me. It'll just mean I have to... figure it out myself. And make sure whoever I find isn't innocent."
... He won't accidentally hurt someone innocent. He refuses to do that.
"... I'm sorry. For all the trouble we keep causing you." ... At least he means it.

"Balance is difficult to maintain as it is." More so when he couldn't track those who just popped up in this place as he could the Nusquamton natives. These monsters were something else, and Rainbow Goat right here was a headache in and of himself just by... well.
That couldn't be an easy existence at all.
Asriel's shoulder as given as squeeze, just another comforting sort of gesture, "Can honestly say I haven't had to collect someone from other worlds as often as I have been lately." There was no blame, just some acceptance of it all. What else could he do?
"You're a good kid, Asriel." There was sincerity there in his voice, finally taking a step back. "You'll be able to believe that again one day.
"I mean it, keep an eye on the flower. The worst thing that can happen is Chara waking up underground. It's happened to someone before."
