Open RP post, yo.
(For either
fabulae_victoriana shenanigans, as to avoid clogging up the comm. Or general RP with others. And I guess any of my dumb solo writing stuff to explain things in F_V that may happen to Chara-Frisk when the kid is on their own.
Or something, I'm awful at these.)

"Asriel- or perhaps you'd prefer Flowey like this." He doesn't move, sitting there still beside the body, arms soon rested against his knees. "You won't be able to care for the body by yourself."
no subject
"Flowey," he practically snaps out. "I know how to bury the dead if that is what you are talking about."
no subject
That was indeed a hand lightly brushing hair from their face. Behavior and actions aside, this was still very much a child, a child tat had seen their mother in their final moments of this.
"Three days Chara will revive, I promise you that."
no subject
"Gee, what a bold promise. It's like you do this a lot." Though now that he's not hissing like a brat he's moving closer to Chara and looking them over. He knew where the house was and could either pick them up or drag them himself. Not in his long yet tiny leaves though. "I think there's plenty of pie left in the kitchen."
no subject
He was actually squinting a bit at Flowey for a moment and... Oh, so that's where Darren Waterson's soul went. Well, then. "I do it every time one of you from other worlds die.
"I'm Death." Do not drag the body, Flowey. Nor try to stuff it with pie. "I've already collected the kid's soul, consider this... a little extra to make sure there's not another burying the body incident." Such as what happened with a robot.
no subject
"So it's true. We don't reset but we revive..." It's a good thing he's worried about Chara right now or he'd be thinking up devious things right now at that information. It meant that death meant nothing here like at home. Oh, yeah. That soul was tasty and just giving him lots of power right now.
"If that is what you want to call yourself..." he says rather sarcastically. He is considering stuffing it with pie and dragging it thank you very much. SOUL? Did someone say SOUL? He's perking up at that information and looking closer, "Where is it exactly?" Not that he wants it. That would be a horrid idea to let Chara inside of him again.
no subject
He'd get that alright, but this flower... He would go straight to Life, she'd have to figure out what to do with him then.
Headaches, all of them.
If Death had eyeballs at the moment they'd be rolling in their sockets, "It's what I am." Just a very simple fact. This was one of those Chara didn't want getting their SOUL, strange as it was. "On my person, I'll be taking care of them until I can hand it over to Life."
no subject
It would be a pain to have to recollect souls every time he died if Death just took what didn't belong to him.
He's one of the biggest. Get use to it. There was bound to be a lot of missing SOULs.
"Death..." said once more as if disbelieving. "Normally skeletons don't eat souls so I suppose I can trust you with it for now." Chara was small enough that if he was in his old body he could pick her up but given how he is now he's tucking his leaves underneath them and lifting enough for his vines just to lift it or trying to. Though part of him is considering finding that goat .
no subject
But it was only a flash, a glimpse of all the power and form hidden behind the appearance of a harmless but well dressed skeleton- "I don't eat souls, 'Flowey'. Merely collect, repair, and prepare them when I cannot guide them to a final rest.
"This is what kindness I can give, for those of you doomed to repeat this cycle of life and death while here."
no subject
"We're not at home and yet here we are stuck in the same cycles. Pathetic." He didn't like it and finally he manages to raise Chara off of the ground. This would be a lot easier if he had arms.
no subject
A hand lifted, the front door opening wide, eyeing the yellow flower once Chara was lifted.
"Take them inside, not to your bed. Else you would have them dying over and over underground amongst your roots."
no subject
He still had no room for himself in that house as that potted hanging plant was more than enough but he understood his words and he gave a snarky look as he just moved through that house and towards the room where Asriel and Chara usually slept, "At least then Chara couldn't leave... but alright."
no subject
Really, this was almost like some strange babysitting thing. At least it wasn't like holding back a murderous Sans, just a snarky brat of a child stuck in a flower. Death was patient, and Death was calm, despite the firmness of his voice in that.
no subject
He's reaching a leaf up and opening the door as best as he could even if he had to get help from Death itself. Just don't step on him because he's all over the floor right now in thick bunches. Yeah, someone just likely tripped over him in the hallway and he's not even sorry.
He's going to set Chara on the bed and cross his leaves as he contemplates pie again, "So... which one killed a creature like them."
no subject
"I can't tell you that," A slight shrug, "Of course I know, but under a set of rules I cannot tell." So it wouldn't be from him the discovery would be made.
no subject
"Of course you can't. I should've known." Except he knew a few likely responsible and he really just wanted a worded confirmation. He was no match right now for any of the trashbags so he'd let the other handle it if he wished.
no subject
Or make sure the flower didn't drag them off before the other kid got there.
no subject
"Maybe I will." He was going to. "I don't exactly want to be here when he gets here. He should've been watching them."
no subject
Someone needed to make sure no one buried the kid after all, and someone needed to clean Chara up. Death could do it, but he wasn't really sure what the reaction would be other way, other than the anger he already expected from the monster. "Someone has to tell him what happened. Somewhat."
no subject
Besides, he's not sure if Chara would enjoy their body being tended to by a flower when the other goat could likely do a better job was actual hands. Not that he couldn't manage if he really tried. "Right, right. You can't say. Gee, so helpful."
But he's retreating slowly as his vines are taking him backwards out of the room. He's just staring with a sarcastic look right out the door. It's only after a moment does he just simply leave... "I'll be back later."
no subject
The nerve of soulless plants that were once monster kids. Still- Death simply stared down the flower the entire time, posture actually rather relaxed and simply waited for him to actually leave. Bone brow arched even, returning that look right back at him-
Then there was just waiting for the more colorful one that was a mess of souls.
no subject
He knows this scent, however. It sounds weird to say you know the smell of the blood of a person you've seen die before, but there it is. Either one of the Frisks was hurt, or... Chara... no, no no no. Not good. There is a very loud shout--
"What the heck's going on?!"
There you go. There's the supposed mess of souls. And he is about five seconds from freaking out and searching the house, presuming you two got the kid's body up into their room.
no subject
"Would you get up here already? I need to leave the kid in some sort of capable hands that won't drag them off into the garden," he's no leaving the room. Doesn't trust the flower a bit, not that he knows f the rainbow goat is much better.
At least the voice would give Asriel a sense of direction and pinpoint where it came from.
no subject
"Let me guess," he asks slowly. "You're someone they knew?"
He has to try to stay calm. But it's very hard when all he wants to do right now is raze an entire city until he finds the one responsible. The better question is, what state was the body in? He needs to get a better look. He wants to see if he can find a sign of who did it. The idea it may be his sibling's fault doesn't even cross his mind.
no subject
What a mess, really. Even with all the kid had done, all he could feel was sympathy of a sorts.
Arms crossed, head tilted, "Chara will return in three days, their body needs to be tended to and cared for until then, Asriel.
"Think you can do that?"
