Yes, I saw the message and I have a name people can call me instead of my own. And why not just go with like, "Al" or "Bert", like short forms of your name?

It's an easy name to remember, so that's why I use it.

And I don't know what they'll do to you, other than it's something bad. That's why you don't give a faerie your real name.

[ Something... makes him wonder if Chara even has a Bruno of their own. Chara strikes Alberto as so seemingly unflappable and confident, which is maybe part of what draws him to them so much — not so unlike the way Luca is drawn to Alberto, perhaps. But he doesn't quite make the connection himself. There's just a gut feeling like... maybe Chara actually feels the confidence that Alberto feigns so passionately. And it makes him surprisingly sheepish going out on a limb admitting it's... a facade.

...As if that weren't already obvious to someone as smart and astute as Chara, which he also likes about them. Even if it might not be in his favor this very moment. Or, well— many other moments between the two of them, really. But it's not driven them apart, either, so— he'll risk the transparency in his panic over the fae. ]

[Admitting anything that could be a weakness to Chara is a bad idea, as they read over what Alberto wrote and they think it over.

They don't really... Listen to that voice, haven't in a long long time. In fact, they would say they don't have a "Bruno" at all.]

As long as you can think of it as another name for yourself you should be good? I don't know faeries as well as I do Monsters.

[ Alberto wishes he didn't have a Bruno at all, misguided on how his Bruno actually pushes him to be better... He's glad this conversation is over text suddenly so that Chara can't see his face. "I don't know but..." tells him a lot — and confirms his suspicion that, no, Chara doesn't know Bruno. He's a little envious, even if it's misplaced. ]

do monsters curse people?
do you have to worry about weird stuff like this with monsters in the underground?

[Having a Bruno means you don't do things like kill everyone you know and love, so Chara would say that Alberto having one is a good thing.]

To my knowledge, no they can't curse people.
And no, because monsters are just kind of like funny looking people with magic.

Some folks would probably say the change totally counts.

And yeah, they have magic like what we've got here, although not as much. Like a monster will have fire magic and that's it.

I think he was too young to have his magic just yet, but he'd probably have fire magic. Since Toriel and Asgore also have it.

They were nice and kind, and Asgore was really goofy sometimes. Like, he named the place that they lived "Home", this was like the main place for monsters to live at the time too I do believe.
